Of all the household chores out there, we’ll bet money that if you ask anybody what their least favourite one is, the answer will be a unanimous, “Cleaning the bathroom!” And really, what’s to like about it? Getting on your hands and knees to scrub mildew out of tiles, trying not to be grossed-out while removing streaks from the toilet bowl, and trying to get off that stubborn soap scum from your shower head are certainly not appealing tasks in anyone’s eyes.
But what if we told you there was a way to never spend more than a minute getting your bathroom nice and clean? It sounds like something out of a dream world, but trust us – it’s possible in real life!
Behold, the guide that will change your life forever (at least when it comes to chores): How to Keep Your Bathroom Clean in One Minute a Day
Getting Started
To begin, you’ll want to prepare your bathroom to make this task a little easier for yourself. This involves two key steps:
Everyday Tips
Now that you’ve prepared your bathroom for the one-minute clean, the trick is following some simple everyday tips.
Make an effort to give your bathroom floor a quick sweep once every day. It will only take seconds, and you’ll never have to deal with a thick build-up of dust and dirt.
Once of the worst offenders in a messy bathroom, is dried out toothpaste in the sink. After brushing your teeth, make sure to quickly wipe away any residue that doesn’t make it down the sink. It will be so much easier than dealing with dried out toothpaste.
After brushing your teeth before bed, give the countertops a quick wipe down. Completing this nightly ritual will take no more than 10 seconds of energy, and you’ll always wake up to a clean and clear counter.
Many cleaning companies sell “gel discs” that can be discreetly placed in your toilet bowl to give it a quick clean every time you flush it. You’ll still need to give it a wipe down every so often, but it’ll take a fraction of the time.
It’s much easier to take out the trash as soon as it’s full rather than when it’s overflowing. Don’t procrastinate, just do it, and you’ll save hours of time in the long run!
